19 Reasons Why Babywipes are Life

Babywipes are fantastic little saviours to take away with you on your travels – they just have so many uses! Here are 19 reasons why you should include them on your packing list…

1. If you really can’t stand to shower in your bug infested arctic water shower, having a wipe down can always keep you going a little longer.

2. They double up as facewipes. Saves space and pennies!

3. They are super helpful when there is a loo roll shortage – plus they make you feel extra squeaky clean down there!

4. They’re a great cleaning product when wiping down surfaces after cooking. Or in case your AirBnb host needs the place cleaned up a little before inspection.

5. They are excellent at cleaning up any mosquito gel leakages in your bag – leaving absolutely no greasy residue.

6. They’re great at cleaning muddy shoes! A bonus when you’re only carrying one or two pairs.

7. They can act as a hand sanitiser when out and about. Or when there’s a soap shortage.

8. Good at keeping things covered like food or items in jars – just use a hairband or elastic band to secure the top.

9. When there’s no time for ear buds, these babies are great at cleaning your dirty travel ears out. Form a little bud and clear that wax out!

10. Fantastic at taming unruly hair e.g. eyebrows or flyaways when you just want to look slightly less jungly.

11. Stain remover: baby wipes are great at it! Use on clothes, wall and carpets.

12. A great way to keep cool in the heat – plus it covers up that sweaty smell…

13. Gets rid of deodorant marks on clothes in no time!

14. Can be used as haemorrhoid cream (we know…but some day you may need it). If you can get baby wipes with aloe, add a few drops of witch hazel into a container, then voila – haemorrhoid cream is created. Understandably, you may not have all these items with you, but if you’re somewhere where you can’t find the premade stuff, this may be an option.

15. Gets sand off everything.

16. Soothes skin – sunburn and mozzy bites especially (keep in fridge for extra ‘ooooo’).

17. The packaging is super handy to store things in when travelling e.g. jewellery or secret money pouch (obviously once it’s dried out, please don’t get soggy money).

18. Good for stopping nosebleeds (cool, damp and absorbent).

19. Cleaning a cut when there’s no first aid kit to hand.
